Public Input Materials
If you wish to speak on the CFO/CAFO amendments at the public hearing, please note the following:
Time Limits: Individual members of the public will be limited to 5 minutes of speaking time each. The Commission will alert each speaker as they reach 4 and then 5 minutes of speaking time.
Written Material Deadline: Anyone wishing to provide written material to the Plan Commission for consideration at the public hearing must provide that material to the Planning Department (located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall) by no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 1, 2016. Ten copies of any written material must be provided.
PowerPoint Presentation Deadline: Anyone wishing to use PowerPoint presentation slides at the public hearing must provide an electronic version of that presentation to the Planning Department by no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 1, 2016. The Planning Department staff will then load those presentations and make them available at the public hearing.
Sign-up Not Required: Those wishing to speak will not be required to sign-up prior to or at the public hearing. However, those who speak will be asked to print their names on a register at the time of their comments for the purpose of correctly reflecting their names in the public hearing record.
Hearing Duration: The public hearing will end at 11:00 a.m. At that time, the Plan Commission will assess the input they have received and if others wish to speak. The Commission's options will be to schedule an additional public hearing, continue the matter to a subsequent meeting, or vote on the proposed amendments.
