Solid Waste Management District Board
The Solid Waste Management District Board is responsible for the operation of our sanitary landfill, the City Garage construction/demolition site, our municipal recycling and education center, a rural refuse collection program, a household hazardous waste collection program and our 10-acre municipal composting operation. This involves the supervision of 16 full-time and one part-time staff persons and the administration of a 3.7 million dollar annual budget (2010).
