Donner Aquatics Center will open for the season on Saturday, May 24th*. Final day of the swim season will be Sunday, August 10. 

Donner Aquatics Center closed: June 6, 7 & 8 and August 1, 2 & 3 for swim meets.

Public Swim Session Admission Prices

Swim Diapers

All persons who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper. We wish to avoid fecal accidents which can cause the pool(s) to close several hours or several days. Infant/ Toddlers swim diapers may be purchased from the pool

Weather Guidelines

The aquatic center will not open if it is raining . The center may also close early if the weather is cool and attendance is low. In the case of closure due to rain or lightning, the aquatic center may reopen if the weather clears. Please check www.donnerpool.com for further info.

Free Public Swim Lessons

All children age 10 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person, 18 or older.

Family Free Swim

The family free swim is an opportunity for families to swim together. All persons under the age of 21 years must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older, who will be responsible for them (a parent or neighbor, for example). Parents younger than 21 may attend with their children. *A maximum of 600 persons will be admitted to the Wednesday Family Free Swim. No Family Free Swim on Wed., Aug. 6.

Private Pool Parties

Rent Donner Aquatic Center for your special function. Donner Aquatic Center is a great place for a church gathering, company outing, organization fundraiser, birthday party, etc. Lots to keep everyone entertained: leisure pool for the youngest; 133' long, 22' high waterslide; 1 meter diving boards, water basketball and water volleyball, etc. Food service and activity planning is available. Donner Aquatic Center can be rented for parties on Friday evenings from 6:30-10:30pm and Saturday & Sundays from 7-10:30pm. Make reservations by calling 376-2680. Hurry, dates fill quickly!

Masters Swim/Deep Water Walking (Outdoor)

Deep Water Walking for adults will be offered in the diving well from 11am-12:00pm daily (no evening hours). This is a self directed program and participants must provide their own floatation devices.

Masters Swimming is great for fitness and stress relief. Take advantage of lap swimming for adults (18 & over). One-half of the pool is available during swim lessons, three lanes during evening swim. Both programs run from May 24-Aug. 10.

Schedule:

Jr. Lifeguard Camp (ages 11-14)

Learn what it takes to be a lifeguard and get an inside track on a job at Donner Aquatic Center. A two-week, Mon.-Fri. camp held at DAC. Each camper receives a fanny pack, visor, and a whistle. Limit: 8 participants

Outdoor Scuba Diving Class

Enter the underwater world of scuba diving. A four-week course leads to the YMCA Open Water Diving Lifetime Certification. Class meets twice a week for a total of 32 hours. An organizational meeting will be held at Donner Center on Mon., June 30 at 7:00pm. Classes are held at Donner Aquatic Center on Mon. & Thurs. Equipment rental not included.
