Recreational Day Camps

Kids, come in to play & join us for another fun-filled summer of day camps. Children must be 3 years old by May 1, 2008 for the 3-4 year old camps and be toilet trained. All day camp participants will receive an informational letter one week in advance of the camp.

Come In & Play Summer Camp (ages 3-7)

Come on into Columbus Gymnastics Center & enjoy some Fitness & Fun activities! Activities include gymnastics play on the bars, beam, floor & even the trampoline. A healthy snack will be provided.

Donner Construction Zone (ages 3-7)

Grab your hard hat & tools (we supply) & join us in the Donner Construction Zone! We'll see real construction machinery, build a summer city & use a variety of wacky & crazy materials to build new inventions & creations.

Camp Super Kids

3-7 Yrs. A week of activities at Donner Center. Highlights will include "Little Laboratory Day" with a visit from the "Mad Scientist", "Jammin Good Time Day" & "Happy Birthday Day". A field trip is also planned.

8-12 Yrs. Campers will spend their days at Ceraland & participate in a variety of outdoor activities. Miniature golf, swimming, basketball, golf driving range & paddle boats will be available. Campers will also participate in a jewelry making workshop & "Fear Factor" Day!". On Thurs. eve. (weather permitting) we'll stay late & have dinner around the campfire!

P*L*A*Y ON!!! (ages 5-7)

Finally a chance to perform on the BIG stage! Campers will play theater games, use their imagination, & develop their performance skills. On Friday eve. they will perform with the Project A*C*T production of Disney's Sleeping Beauty. There will be additional camp time on Fri. evening for the final rehearsal & performance. Camp is conducted by North High School Theater & Choral staff & students. Please specify shirt size when registering.

PROJECT A*C*T (ages 8-12)

An intro to theater experience for kids who are looking to perform. Campers will audition on Mon. morning & on Fri. will perform a full stage version of Disney's Sleeping Beauty. Campers will also work on some of the technical elements of the show. Camp is conducted by North High School Theater & Choral staff & students. Please specify shirt size when registering.

Reg. Deadline: May 23. Minimum: 25

Disney Days (ages 3-7)

Campers will enter the "magical world of Disney" & a land of adventures! Campers will visit Mickey's Clubhouse, move with their imagination, solve mysteries with the "Great Mouse Detective" and become chefs with "Ratatouille". Each day will be filled with crafts, music & surprises!

Kids In Motion (8-12 yrs.)

Kids will be in constant motion during this fun-filled week. Campers will participate in heart healthy activities such as swimming, roller skating, hiking, volleyball, bowling, ice skating, & kickboxing. Healthy snacks will be provided each day. Highlight will be a field trip to "The Woods" riding stables for horseback riding.

At The Beach

Sand, sun & surf!!! Campers will explore the best the beach has to offer both above & below the water! We'll take a dip in the "ocean" (Donner Pool), "Hula, Hula, Hula" with a special guest, create sand castles, make our own leis, shell art & more!

Project D*R*A*M*A (ages 11-14)

An advanced theater experience for kids who are serious about performing. Campers will audition on Mon. morning & on Fri. will perform a full stage version of "Seussical". Campers will experience all technical aspects of the show & work on improvisation. Camp is conducted by North High School Theater & Choral staff & students. Camp M*A*D (Music, Arts, Drama ages 8-13)

A week-long overnight camp for the budding artist, thespian or musician. Campers will experience drama, music & visual arts along with canoeing, swimming, campfires & hiking. On Fri., campers will host an art show & drama presentation for family and friends.

Must have a minimum of 30 campers by July 7 in order for camp to be held.
