Donner Center Room Rentals

Donner Center has rooms available to rent for many activities including receptions, pitch-ins, dances, parties, seminars, classes, etc. Room rentals are subject to 6% sales tax. Please call 376-2680 for fees and details on reserving a room at the center

Shelterhouse Reservations

Shelters may be reserved in Donner Park or Mill Race Park. Please stop in or call Donner Center at 376-2680, beginning the first working day in January 2008, to reserve for 2008. Payment is due at time of reservation. All shelters are subject to 6% sales tax. Shelters available for rental:
Mill Race Large Shelterhouse $35
Mill Race Small Shelterhouses $25
Donner Park Shelterhouse (1 section) $25
Donner Park Shelterhouse (4 sections) $90

Trees to Trees

Notice the green and yellow container in the south parking lot of Donner Center & at Lincoln Park? This free paper recycling container is called Abitibi. Each ton of paper we recycle in Abitibi will earn money that will go towards our new “Trees to Trees” fund in the Park Foundation! “Trees to Trees” money will be used to plant new trees throughout the city, replenishing the trees we use as paper each day! You can recycle newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail, envelopes, folders, paper and colored paper. So, please bring your recycling to Donner or Lincoln and help us purchase more trees! Would you be interested in having a Dog Park in Columbus where you can take your dog to exercise and socialize with other dogs? Why not join the Dog Park Committee and help create a park for our 4-legged family members. Contact Parks and Recreation at 812-375-2759 to join.
