Chuck Boll is the Director of Personnel for the City of Columbus. A native of Columbus, Chuck is interested in Community and Economic Development. Chuck is a member of the Mayor's Committee for Accessibility and Inclusion; is secretary of the Citizens Audit & Review Committee for the Columbus Police Department; and served on the City Insurance Review Committee and Medical Review Subcommittee. Chuck has a BS in Business and M.B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. He has held his SPHR professional certification since 2002.

Chuck is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Bartholomew County. Professionally, Chuck is a former board member and web master of the Southern Indiana Human Resource Association (SIHRA). He is a two term at-large board member of IMPACT (Human Resource Committee) of Indiana Association of Cities & Towns. Community service includes working with emergency service providers for the homeless, regional Workforce Investment Board, member of the Bartholomew County Literacy Task Force, and Civic Boom! Advisory Group. Presently, Chuck is mentoring a Columbus East High School student with a Senior Project.

Previously, Chuck led a citywide committee in the design and adoption of the new City flag and is now serving on the City of Columbus web design team. Chuck was selected as the fifth Columbus-Miyoshi Friendship Ambassador. Chuck led the community Asia IN US Committee working with the Indiana Humanities Council focusing on the exchange of arts and humanity. He serves on the Miyoshi Friendship Committee of the Bartholomew County School Corporation.
