A basic master set of reproducible street numbering maps shall be maintained by the board of public works and safety and shall be revised necessary to maintain current status in the future. In conjunction with the master street name index, such base maps shall comprise a scale of one inch equaling three hundred feet and shall contain all grid lines and numbers in sequential units of one hundred.
