The department of code enforcement on being informed of the exact location, existing or proposed, shall designate and verify to the owner or occupant of any building now being erected, in the process of construction or hereafter being erected the correct number of such building. Any decision may be appealed to the board of public works and safety for review. (Prior code § 27-13)
