The personnel policy of the city, is amended for purposes of insuring that all sworn firefighters of the fire department participating in training exercises sanctioned by the department be compensated by payment of straight time, which is defined as the regular hourly rate of each individual of the fire department, for each hour said sworn firefighters participate in said training exercises sanctioned by the department.
