A.    There is established a department of law pursuant to Indiana Code, 36-4-9-8 and Indiana Code, 36-4-9-11.

    B.    The head of the department of law shall have and faithfully perform the duties and responsibilities contained in Indiana Code 36-4-9-12. The heard of this department shall be appointed by the mayor. (Prior code § 2-22)
