The violations clerk shall accept written appearances, waivers of trial, admissions of violations and payment of civil penalties of not more than fifty dollars, payable by money order, cashier's check or other cash equivalent, in ordinance violation cases or any other amount approved or approved as a collectible fine pursuant to Indiana Code, 33-6-3-1 and all subsequent amendments thereto.
