2.66.040 Duties and responsibilities.
The city hall facilities committee shall:
A. Conduct an annual inspection of building
and grounds during the month of March;
B. Provide an annual report to mayor
and council as to general condition of building and
grounds within thirty days after the annual inspection;
C. Make recommendations for the following
year's capital improvement budget for City Hall;
D. Develop a five-year plan for the replacement
and/or modification of the physical plant and
grounds;
E. Review any requests for changes inside
or outside the building, covering, but limited to,
such areas as: landscaping, site planning, exterior buildings, present building architecture, interior
walls or objects to be placed thereon, appointments, additional or remodeling of furniture, carpet,
drapes, accessories and other related items;
F. Interview and make a recommendation
to the board of public works and safety for any
architectural assistance needed relative to the building and grounds, and review any architectural
recommendations prior to board of public works and safety action on such recommendations;
G. Analyze and make recommendation to
the board of public works and safety concerning
changes necessary to comply with any local, state or federal statutes, or laws relative to safety and
health;
H. Perform such other duties and assume
such other responsibilities as the mayor and the
common council may appropriately assign to it. (Prior code § 2-57)
