A.    The initial term of members of the committee shall be staggered as follows:

    1.    Police and fire department representative, one year;     2.    Utility service department representative, two years;

    3.    Park and recreation department representative, three years;

    4.    Private sector appointee, one year;

    5.    Private sector appointee, two years;

    6.    Private sector appointee, three years;

    7.    Common council appointee, one year;

    8.    Common council appointee, one year;

    9.    Common council appointee, one year.

    B.    Thereafter, each member of the committee shall serve for a term of three years, with the exception of council members who shall serve for one year.

    C.    Additionally, the mayor and the city attorney or his designee shall serve as ex-officio members of the committee. (Ord. 96-14 (part), 1996: prior code § 2-60)
