Any person who keeps, owns, harbors, boards, sells or lets for hire any wild animal (Class 1), as defined in Section 6.04.010, must obtain the appropriate permit(s) from the state of Indiana and report to the animal control department the acquisition of such a wild animal (Class 1) and the acquisition or application for a permit required by the state of Indiana.
