Upon acceptance of the license application and fee, there shall be issued to the applicant a durable tag stamped with an identification number and a month of expiration. Animals must wear such tags at all times when outside the owners dwelling unit. The licensing agent shall maintain a record of the identifying number of all tags issued. (Prior code § 4-12)
