8.04.120 Disposition of fees and charges.
A. Fees paid to file an application for
the permit described herein, and all charges relative to
false alarms, shall be paid directly to the fire or police. All fees paid directly to the police shall
be
dedicated, cumulatively, and shall be nonreverting for the upgrading of response by the police to
burglary, hold up and robbery alarms. Such dedication shall include the acquisition of appropriate
equipment and related paraphernalia pertaining thereto.
B. All fees paid directly to the fire
shall be dedicated, cumulatively, and shall be nonreverting
for the upgrading of response by the fire to fire, smoke, excessive heat, explosion and drop in water
pressure alarms. Such dedication shall include acquisition of appropriate equipment and related
paraphernalia pertaining thereto.
C. The office of the clerk-treasurer
of the city shall maintain in its records such dedicated
funds on a cumulative basis. (Ord. 89-59 § 12, 1989)
