The Columbus Animal Care Services Department gratefully accepts donations for the pets housed at the shelter. Whether it is through donations of products, money or your time &#8211; anything you are willing to give is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><b>Volunteer Opportunities:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to volunteer your time, you are always welcome out at the Animal Care Services Shelter! Please complete our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.columbus.in.gov\/animal-care-services\/volunteer\/volunteer-application\/\"><strong>Volunteer Application<\/strong><\/a> and a member of the CACS team will be in touch with you to discuss opportunities with you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are just a few of the things that you could do out at the shelter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a pet for a walk<\/li>\n<li>Have &#8216;play time&#8217; with a pet<\/li>\n<li>Help feed the pets<\/li>\n<li>Help clean up the kennels<\/li>\n<li>Help with laundry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Volunteers under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while at the shelter.
