The City of Columbus has announced that some departments will be observing summer hours beginning Monday, May 23 through Friday, August, 5. Normal staffing hours will resume Monday, August 8.
Summer hours will be from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Individual summer office hours within the City of Columbus are listed below.
- The offices of the Mayor, Community Development, Clerk-Treasurer, Redevelopment, Human Resources, Human Rights, and Planning in City Hall will be open with normal hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- City Engineering will be open from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Columbus Police Department Administration will be open with normal hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Columbus Fire Department Administration will be open with normal hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Columbus Municipal Airport will be open with normal hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Animal Care Services will be open with normal hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Parks and Recreation will be open with normal hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Housing Authority will remain open by appointment only from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Columbus City Utilities will be open from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- The office of City Transit will retain their hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Columbus City Garage will retain their office hours of 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
