ColumBUS to Host Community Input Meetings on Route Study Alternatives

Local residents are invited to a community input meeting on potential ColumBUS route and service changes. ColumBUS is currently conducting a route study in conjunction with a transit planning consultant, RLS & Associates, Inc. The planning process, which focuses on restructuring local services for improved access and efficiency, will conclude in October. The study’s recommendations will be implemented in 2025. The consultant has developed two alternatives for route changes and the addition of new services that will offer opportunities to reach more destinations than are currently accessible on transit today.

During the meetings, RLS will present maps of the alternatives for revised routes and allow time for discussion and questions. The presentation content will be the same during both meeting sessions.
