More than 450 Safe\u00a0Kids coalitions in 16 countries bring together health and safety experts, educators,\u00a0corporations, foundations, governments and volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>There is no one device or solution that will effectively prevent all types of\u00a0accidental childhood injuries. Instead, Safe Kids coalitions combine several factors\u00a0to create programs that reduce injuries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educating adults and children<\/li>\n<li>Creating safe environments<\/li>\n<li>Conducting research<\/li>\n<li>Advocating for effective laws<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coalition members reach out to their local communities with injury prevention messages,\u00a0safety devices and hands-on training.
