It is important to the Columbus Fire Department that we share information with our stakeholders\/customers. It keeps you informed on department operations and holds us accountable for the work we are expected to achieve. The addition of a department data analyst professional has greatly increased the accuracy and speed at which we can share this information, and has paid dividends in the ability to identify areas of improvement within our agency’s operations.\u00a0 CFD Data Analyst, Paula Honebrink, shares an analysis of this most recent recap which we share with you.<\/p>\n

We are still ahead of pace from the same time last year, however we are slowing down. An interesting point is that May 2025 has been our slowest month so far this year in terms of incidents, with even less calls than in February. Here\u2019s the monthly breakdown on incidents per month:<\/p>\n

Jan \u2013 659 (22.5%)<\/p>\n

Feb \u2013 555 (18.9%)<\/p>\n

Mar \u2013 590 (20.1%)<\/p>\n

Apr \u2013 603 (20.6%)<\/p>\n

May \u2013 526 (17.9%)<\/p>\n
