The Columbus Police Department\u2019s General Orders are approved by the Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety and follow nationally recognized best practices. CPD is accredited by both CALEA (Commission on the Accreditation for the Law Enforcement Agencies) and the ILEAC (Indiana Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission).<\/p>\n

CPD\u2019s General Orders are numbered according to CALEA guidelines in regards to policies that are applicable and enforced by the Columbus Police Department. No information has been omitted.<\/p>\n
