Earlier today, Ross was sworn in by Mayor Mary Ferdon at the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting. Ross graduated from Jennings County High School before attending Indiana University Columbus. While studying criminal justice, he joined the Indiana University Police Department (IUPD) as a cadet. The following summer he completed the Indiana University Police Academy and continued to work for the past year as an IUPD part-time police officer. Last year, Ross completed a semester-long internship with the Columbus Police Department.
