Road closures begin Thursday morning in Columbus for the annual Mill Race Marathon, with multiple downtown streets posted no‑parking or fully closed for pre‑race setup. Additional closures take place Saturday across the race course, including downtown, the east side and north side. Streets will reopen as runners clear each section.
Oktoberfest will follow the marathon on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Washington Street, extending some downtown closures into the evening.
Drivers should expect delays, follow posted detours and avoid parking in marked no‑parking zones. Police officers will direct traffic throughout the weekend.
