HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ANNUAL DINNER
Each year, the Columbus Human Rights Commission hosts its Annual Dinner to celebrate the Commission’s accomplishments and involvements in the past year. More importantly, the Annual Dinner is an opportunity for the Commission to educate the community about the current issues that the community can continue to improve upon.
The 2018 Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. at The Commons. The Commission invites community members to hear Ms. Lecia Brooks, the outreach director at the Southern Poverty Law Center, speak regarding the topics of immigration and hate and extremism at the dinner. Tickets are $30.00 per person. Additional information about the dinner can be found in the Commission’s press release.
