Firefighter Craig Weddle

The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) announces the retirement of Firefighter Craig Weddle, a 28-year veteran of the department. Firefighter Weddle joined the Columbus Fire Department in 1996. Firefighter Weddle served as a Firefighter, certified Emergency Medical Technician and Hazardous Materials Technician.

Firefighter Weddle retires from his Firefighter assignment at fire station # 5 on Battalion C. Firefighter Weddle’s official retirement date is Monday, May 20, 2024. The Columbus Fire Department expresses our deep gratitude to Firefighter Weddle, for his faithful years of service to the department and the community. We wish Firefighter Weddle a long and healthy retirement! Thank you for you service.
