If your excavation work will require closing or restricting a lane, alley, sidewalk, or parking space, you must also submit a Request for Special Use of Right of Way.

Requests for Special Use of Right of Way are reviewed weekly by the Board of Public Works and Safety every Tuesday (excluding holidays). Please plan your project so that work begins no earlier than the day after the Board’s review.
