Here is our Columbus Fire Department October 2025 Recap. The monthly recap is a running total to show you the types of calls and the number of responses each unit has completed year-to-date.

On par with national statistics, Fire and Emergency Medical calls have remained consistent. October was an active month with Columbus Firefighters participating in various Fire Prevention activities throughout the community. Fire Prevention Week, held Oct. 5- Oct. 11, was filled with tours, visits from students and community risk reduction activities. We saw a nearly 4 % increase in calls compared to last October.
