The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) announces the retirement of Firefighter Glenn “Skeeter” Martin, a 29-year veteran of the department. Firefighter Martin joined the Columbus Fire Department in 1994. Firefighter Martin is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and Hazardous Materials Technician.
Firefighter Martin retires from his current firefighter assignment at fire station # 6 on Battalion C. Firefighter Martin’s official retirement date is Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The Columbus Fire Department expresses our deep gratitude to Firefighter Martin, for his faithful years of service to the department and the community.
