2023 Contractors’ Workshop

The Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSGP) has been in effect for more than a year. We looked at how contractors have been adjusting to the new regulations, including discussing common issues on construction sites and possible solutions. Documentation requirements such as self-inspections and project management logs were also presented. Attendees participated in a mock inspection to sharpen stormwater inspection skills and hear valuable Columbus specific stormwater updates from the City’s Stormwater Coordinator. Additionally, IDEM Stormwater Specialist Martin Yake provided updates on the newer Indiana Waterway Inquiry Request website and 401/404 permitting procedures.
