10-28-2021  All driveways are complete.  Next week, weather permitting, crews will begin paving.

10-15-2021  Crews continue preparing and pouring driveways.  The center island of the Taylor Road/31st Street roundabout has been poured.

10-7-2021   Curb installation is complete and joints are being sawed into the concrete curb.  Roadway is covered with aggregate.  Crews are building temporary driveway ramps and testing driveways for moisture and compaction.  They will then move forward with prepping and compacting driveways in preparation for concrete and asphalt installation.  Crews continue to work long hours, six days a week.

9-29-2021   Stabilization is complete.   9/29-10/2 Stone base will be put down on the road bed.  10/5-10/8 Curb will be installed on the project.

9-20-2021  Milestone has completed the storm sewer.  Crews are starting to work on the final grade and getting ready for stabilization in preparation for final pavement.

8-27-2021  Milestone has completed the relocation of water mains.  They continue to work on setting storm sewer structures.  Crews will soon begin testing the new sanitary sewer trunk line and manholes, then the new laterals to residences.  Earthwork and cutting roadway to grade is underway.

8-2-2021  Milestone is finishing the storm sewer trunk line and beginning to set storm inlets.  They will continue the sanitary sewer work and install laterals to residents.  Milestone will be addressing the water service connections to the residents, per the plans.  Project is being watered to keep the dust to a minimum.

5-12-2021
Milestone crews have milled the roadway, removed curb and gutter, and removed all driveways in the City right of way.  Now they have started installing the storm sewer.

4-20-2021
Construction on this section of the Taylor Road Improvement Project has begun.
Milestone is removing curb and milling existing asphalt pavement, this week and next.  

3-22-2021
The contract for this phase of the project was awarded to Milestone Contractors.  They plan to begin work next month, weather permitting.
