Women’s Self-Defense
The session will start with a basic self defense and awareness PowerPoint followed by some Self Defense basics.
Each week, we will progress through striking, kicking, some basic escapes and human targeting.
Public Safety Academy
The Public Safety Citizens’ Academy is a free, 11-week program designed to educate residents about public safety operations. Participants learn about the Columbus Police Department Bomb Squad, SWAT Team, Criminal Investigations, Narcotics/Vice Units, K-9 Division, and more.
PT With The Police
These one hour workout sessions are open to the public, and are geared toward a police academy style workout with a focus on meeting police agility standards. Columbus Police Officers will be at the Central Middle School Track during the late spring, summer, and fall months.
Firearms Safety Course
We believe that it is the responsibility of every gun owner to be as educated and as safe as they can possibly be. This course is designed for anyone with an interest in: firearms, their safe handling, the safe storage of guns, an understanding of Indiana gun laws and enhancing their shooting skills.
