COLUMBUS, IN. –Ethnic Expo, presented by title sponsor First Financial Bank, in downtown Columbus is set for October 13-14, 2023. The Ethnic Expo Committee is requesting that all potential Host Country candidates submit a proposal prior to selection of the 2023 Host Country.

These will be reviewed by the Ethnic Expo Selection Committee before the 2023 Host country is chosen. The deadline to submit an application for Host Country is February 28, 2023. The Host Country application can be found on the Ethnic Expo website.

Ethnic Expo is organized by the City of Columbus and is made possible by generous donations from the presenting sponsor, First Financial Bank, and other sponsors including Coca-Cola and ERMCO Electric. This activity is also made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission, the Columbus Area Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. The two-day festival, which celebrates the city’s diversity and rich cultural traditions, will take place from 11 am to 10 pm on both days around Columbus City Hall.

“Please join in celebrating our bountiful cultures and heritages from around the world that make the city of Columbus a great place to live, work, and play. We look forward to experiencing customs and traditions in the host country corner,” said Mayor Jim Lienhoop.

The fall festival is family-friendly and features live performances of international music and dancing, authentic cuisine and bazaar market vendors, and free children’s activities.
