Columbus Mayor Mary Ferdon has relaunched “Mondays with Mary,” a weekly video series that highlights city news and initiatives. The series, which had paused unexpectedly, will publish short updates each Monday covering public safety, ordinances, infrastructure projects and topics residents are discussing online.

The first installment is a double edition released this week and again on Monday, Sept. 28. Ferdon discusses several ongoing efforts, including public safety measures, the Riverfront dam removal project and preparations for the Mill Race Marathon.

City officials said the goal of the series is to make local government information accessible and easy to understand while creating a more direct connection with residents.
