Meetings & Events Calendar
Meetings should be added to the Tockify calendar in the following format:
- Name of the meeting or event should be the title.
- The Event Location should be filled out to display the correct location.
- Event Details should feature any other pertinent information, including links to the meeting’s agenda.
All meetings should be posted on the main Columbus calendar, and featured on the homepage. To submit a meeting for the calendar, please email all necessary information (time, date, location, details, etc.) to

All phone numbers should use the following style, always including the area code:

Time
All times for the website should be set as:
00:00 am
00:00 pm
Example:
1:00 pm
7:00 am
not
9am, or 9 a.m., etc
Meeting or event times should be set up as:
10:00 am – 7:00 pm
not
10am – 7pm, 10:00 a.m. through 7 p.m., etc.
Event times, hours of operation, etc.
Monday – Friday (days first)
6:00 am – 7:00 pm (then time)
Hyperlinks
In general, use a descriptive phrase to indicate a link, example:
Please add your float entry by downloading a parade application and returning to the Community Relations office.

The hyperlink style indicates where to click… no need to issue the command to “click here!”
Underlines
No Underlines. On the web, underlining indicates a link. Use bold or italics for emphasis.
Use of PDF Files
PDF files are to be used sparingly – only where the information conveyed is best served in a document that may contain information such as maps, forms, presentation, etc.
Linking to a PDF File (example):
Always include the phrase (PDF) after the link.
