Bartholomew County Soil and Water Conservation District is offering two opportunities for residents to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day in April.

On April 26 from 5:00-7:00 pm, BCSWCD will be hosting a Tree Giveaway at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds. Over 1200 trees will be available for free to the public, with a 5 tree limit per person.  For more information, visit the Tree Giveaway page on the BCSWCD website.

The Rain Barrel Cost-Share Program is now underway and will remain available until all funds are exhausted for rebates. Any Bartholomew County resident may receive a $40 rebate per rain barrel installed on their property (up to 4 barrels).  For additional information, visit the Rain Barrel Cost-Share Program page on the BCSWCD website.
