Columbus, IN — The City of Columbus is proud to announce the 40th Ethnic Expo, taking place Friday and Saturday, October 10–11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day in downtown Columbus.

While last year marked the 40th anniversary of Ethnic Expo, this year we celebrate the 40th event of this beloved tradition. Continuing the theme of “Celebrating Our 40’s,” Ethnic Expo 2025 will highlight countries and cultures from around the world through a dynamic two-day festival filled with food, music, dance, art, and cultural exchange.

In 2024, the Expo drew nearly 30,000 attendees—our largest crowd since the pandemic—and we’re excited to welcome even more guests this year. Visitors can expect an eclectic mix of global cuisine, market items from all over the world, live performances each day, and engaging art that celebrates the diverse community of Columbus and beyond.

Ethnic Expo will continue to bring back its original graphic seal alongside the multi-colored hands-and-confetti design—symbols of unity, celebration, and heritage. “Ethnic Expo is more than a festival, it’s an amazing celebration of who we are as a community,” stated Jody Coffman, Communications and Events Coordinator for the City of Columbus. “It brings people together through culture, food, and connection, and it reminds us that our diversity is one of Columbus’ greatest strengths.”

The City of Columbus is also proud to continue our partnership with First Financial Bank, our Presenting Sponsor. Their ongoing support and commitment to diversity and community engagement has helped Ethnic Expo grow and thrive year after year. First Financial Banks’s investment makes it possible to keep the event free and open to the public, ensuring access for all members of our community.
