About Columbus Recycles – Our Curbside Recycling Program

We have a Facebook page! Please follow @ColumbusRecycles for the latest recycling news, community events, and sustainable lifestyle tips!

The Columbus Recycles program provided by the City of Columbus Sanitation Department offers the opportunity to have convenient curbside recycling for city residents with our trash service. Recyclables will be collected on the same day as your trash collection, every other week. The week of your collection is designated by the letter “A” or “B” on your recycling toter lid. Recycling is an ongoing program and there is no deadline to sign up.

After signing up for the program, a 96-gallon recycling toter will be delivered to your home at no cost. A 64-gallon or a 48-gallon toter is available for a one-time $30 fee on your utility bill. Residents are currently limited to one recycling toter per household.

Residents will have no additional user fees for recycling, and no need to sort or bag your recyclables.
