About Our Curbside Recycling Program:

The Columbus Recycles program provided by the City of Columbus Sanitation Department offers the opportunity to have convenient curbside recycling for city residents with our trash service. Recyclables will be collected on the same day as your trash collection, every other week. The week of your collection is designated by the letter “A” or “B” on your recycling toter lid. Recycling is an ongoing program and there is no deadline to sign up.

After signing up for the program, a FREE 96-gallon recycling toter will be delivered to your home. A 64-gallon or a 48-gallon toter is available for one-time $30 fee on your utility bill. Residents are currently limited to one recycling toter per household.

Residents will have no additional user fees for recycling, and no need to sort or bag your recyclables.
