DPW worker filling in pothole with asphalt

Pothole Patrol:

Potholes are formed by the freezing and thawing of water from rain or snow that seeps beneath the roads surface. At the Department of Public Works, we have a crew out patching and filling potholes almost daily. If you come across a pothole, please fill out the form below, or give our Street Department a call at 812-376-2508. We will try our best to get it filled as soon as possible. Our crews only repair potholes within city limits on city streets or paved alleys.
